Buddy Gancenia is a man who lives and breathes video production. He is a highly experienced Producer-Videographer and a video editor with 15 years work experience in the country’s top television networks. To him, video is more than just a tool for entertainment—it is an art form where he explores all the possibilities in creating one-of-kind and creative videos that can inform, inspire or stir nostalgic emotions.
He began his video career in 1991 when he was part of the production staff of Negosyete, a livelihood program aired in GMA7. This is where he learned all of his skills, becoming an all-around video man. He did everything from handling the camera, to directing, to producing.
He then moved to ABS-CBN and handled tasks that are more rooted in post-production. It is in ABS-CBN where Buddy was part of the production of Sharon, ASAP, Game KNB? First season, Victim and Trip Kita. But his most notable experience in the station was his stint in the first season of Pinoy Big Brother, where he was given top-notch training by the Endemol crew (the producers of the original Big Brother in the Netherlands).
From his work in the mainstream broadcast industry, he has learned and mastered the skills needed to take the craft of videography beyond the broadcast industry and within reach of people such as you.
Buddy is currently thinking of more possibilities in utilizing the art and science of video production. He uses his years of experience as a foundation, and his creativity as a tool to build his legacy as a moving force in video production.
